On Love

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

شاد باش اي عشق خوش سوداي ما

اي طبیب جمله علتهاي ما

shaad bashi ishq khush sodai maa
aye tabeebi jumla illat haye maa  

Hail Love the harbinger of happiness - the physician of all our ills

جسم خاک از عشق بر افلاک شد۔
کوہ در رقص آمدْ چالاک شد۔

jism khak az ishq bar aflaak shud
koh dar raqs aamad o chalak shud

Our earthy body is elevated to the skies due to Love, It makes the mountains come alive and dance.

عقل آمد دین و دنیا شد خراب۔
عشق آمد در دوعالم کامیاب۔

aqal amad deen o dunya shud kharab
ishq amad dard o alam kaamyaab

Logic ruins this world and the Hereafter,
And with the arrival of Love, both worlds are achieved

زندگی آمد برای بندگی

 زندگی بی بندگی شرمندگی

Zindagi Aamad Bara'ay Bandagi
Zindagi Be Bandagi Sharmindagi

Life is only for devotion.
Life without devotion is disgrace
